Lockheed P-3 Orion Aircraft

The illustration is of a Navy Lockheed P-3 Orion aircraft used along the coasts of the US in looking for submarines using sophisticated sonar equipment. Orions, for the most part, have now been retired from active service by the Navy. Originally, these were known in commercial aviation circles as the JetProp Electra.
