Jose Rizal

Jose Rizal was a famous Filipino nationalist. He was also a polymath. He lived during the end of the Spanish colonial period of the Philippines. He was an important member of the Filipino Propaganda Movement, which advocated political reforms for the colony under Spain. (This is based on a 1958 public domain NARA poster.)
