Tortured Lizard

I found a site by googling for Anatomy of an Escher Lizard - Bing video which shows how the Lizard created by Escher is formed by altering a hexagon. I used this technique to draw the basic lizard shape. I then made a group of them and used a geometry transformation to make the group fit better as an octagonal shape. I then added parts around the edge with tags so that they would fit better together. This shows a version where a number of colours has randomly been added to the distorted group. I also have cut this design out in card to make a jigsaw.
