Narcissus

Narcissus was a guy in the original myth; obviously some else filled in for this painting. Narcissists are named for this person who was basically just vain. But if there is a root cause for all of ills in pandora's box (really a jar :-) it is the tendency for people to take the last flower for themselves because in their thinking they matter more than anyone else. again so many sad songs involve narcissists that i cant pick one...
