Tools I Used

The GIMP, Inkscape

Samples I Used

Process

Using The GIMP: Desaturated based on luminosity. Erased the guy in the background. Used a threshold to get an outline of the woman's body. Painted in the body. Erased some extraneous blobs of black.
Moving to Inkscape: converted object to path. Cleaned up some of the jutting pieces. Created a pole.
