This may be a problem - the distinctive script is probably considered a trademark by Volkswagen and would not be in the public domain. Do you have reason to believe it is PD?

Johnny, INAL so I could not tell you if it was trademarked or not. The source of the file was I pic that I took of my dad's car, that I then traced by hand. So I can only state that is a work that I have created. I would say that there is precedence for this type use, think Andy Warhol and the Campbells soup cans. Let me know if you would like it removed and I will take it down.
