thanks. I seem to be the only one cleaning up the files right now, so any help is appreciated.

Jon has to put you on at admin level to make changes to other people's files.

OK, give me a few guidelines as to what you guys look for and I'll give it a go ... even if i only do a little it's some you don't have to do ...

mostly it is this: http://openclipart.org/media/files/ryanlerch/3591 or files that haven't had their fonts converted to paths or files that still have placed photos (maybe as a guide for tracing) still attached. because the link is down for the already identified ones who need cleanup, I am currently looking at the new files as they are uploaded (these are automatically tagged as unchecked) . If the file looks good then I remove the unchecked tag using the admin link (shows up when you are an admin). If it has some problem then I download the file and try to fix it in Inkscape then replace it. We are planning to move over the 7000+ files from the old site. Lots of these will need work, so any little bit you can offer will help. We generally communicate through the mailing list (link on first page), there you can ask to be an admin to help on stuff. Thanks, John
