Ok, I fixed the disappearing text in the tickets.

Masking doesn't show up in the svg, if unless you're using a browser that supports it.

Use the THUMBNAIL for an idea of the final results.

I renamed this file "movie tickets" - the name field is for the file name. That has confused a number of people. Your name appears when it is posted.

Entry marked for cleanup: convert text to path

I fixed that. The text is now a path. Is there a way to fix the masking?

Fix the masking? What do you mean?

When I view the SVG it doesn't show the reflection correctly. It comes up bere as a duplicate image. Or is it a browser issue?

I bet you're using Firefox. In Opera, the reflection looks as it should. It is a browser issue, Firefox is not rendering certain SVG features (like in this case gradient transparency). FF 3.0 should have a better SVG support, until now I'd recomment using Opera 9.23 for viewing SVGs online.
