johnny_automatic always posts the most crisp and clean vectors, and he always seems to magically post just what I need, when I need it. Thanks so much!

thanks. I go through a lot of books looking for ones with the kind of illustrations that trace well. That makes all the difference.

I have been doing similar on Archive.org I am just running into a couple quandaries... 1.) If a book is from before 1923 I know it's in the PD, but does that apply to ART as well? I have a TON of stuff I really wanna post here, but do not wanna post anything not PD 2.) Once Vector Magic went down, I lost the ability to make SVG. Are EPS files acceptable on here?

yes, that is my understanding. Art from 1923 and before is PD also. Same rules apply. As to EPS you'd need to post it as a request and ask someone to convert it if you have no way to convert to SVG. Inkscape opens PDF files. Can you save them as that and then use Inkscape to make the SVG file?

Huh... yes, I can save as PDF natively in Preview, so yeah, I can, cool! For the record, this forum is so much more welcoming and friendly than others I have been on. Thanks for all the info!
