- improve 'stelt tools' for validating SVG. Maybe Wikipedia people want to help when errors are found in some Wikipedia SVG content


  • (SysAdmins) We need to keep our 3rd Party software up to date, please help update software - eg. Media Wiki



  • (System Testers and or Anyone) With our new ccHost implementation, it has not been adequately tested for security holes. Please help test for security problems on ccHost. (creating a wiki page with your test details and or progress may be a good place to start.)



  • (Document Writers)

Help us describe how to use clip art with different applications. The majority of the sections have been created as stubs, but we need people to fill these out. These stubs are listed on the Main Page


  • (Web Developers)

- Check the bugzilla item for this task as well
We need someone to mockup some sample pages to handle clipart requests, for the new CcHost implementation. Including but not restricted to:

    • a friendly web form for entering new requests
    • a table layout for how requests should be displayed
    • an administrative screen with the controls for managing the requests.
    • any other ones that might be useful for collecting, displaying and managing clipart requests.

Once this mockup exists, someone with some PHP know-how could add the code and set up the database table(s) to support it.


  • (Wiki Editors)

- The page MediaWiki:Monobook.css needs to be further modified so that the wiki looks more like http://openclipart.org/cchost/media/view/media/home.
- The following pages of the clipart request area need to be converted into the table format like the Image requests page:



  • (Translators)

- Translation of the wiki - French is well under way, Deutsch has just begun, and all the others have yet to be started.
