Sardar Patel (31 Oct 1875 – 15 Dec 1950 ) as an Indian social leader who played a leading role in the Bharat's (India's) struggle for independence and guided its integration into a united, independent nation. He is also known as Iron Man of India. His Birth anniversary is commemorated as Rashtriya Ekta Diwas.
