Filming a Movie

This was from an old newspaper talking about the new art of taking the silent movie business outside, and filming 'on location' which seemed to be a new idea. I'm not sure what the swimsuit lady in the back (yes, that was a swimsuit!) is doing... I guess she's trying to be sexy so that the cameraman will turn his camera around and film her instead....?
