This was a fresh upload on Wikimedia of an old (public domain) picture of American Civil War general John F. Reynolds. He died at the infamous Battle of Gettysburg, possibly as a result of friendly fire. There are no winners or losers in war, just the dead and the living. He fought for the side of the Union.
