Japanese War Aircraft Pilot

This guy (with the circle chrysanthemum emperor's logo above his head) is about to get in his airplane and be a pilot on the Japanese side during World War Two. War is hell for everyone involved, and I'm sure it was no exception for this poor soul... I hope he made it out alive on the other side of the war.
