In China,there are the two hanzis read as "dao"

//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

They are phonetically similar.

/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

The first "dao" means "turn somethig over"

////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

The second "dao" means "arrive"

////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

"fu" means "happiness"

//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

So,

Turning "fu" over leads to arriving at "fu".

/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

This wordplay is said to be based on a true story.

//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

For more information about the true story ,see here:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fu_character

/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

I will pick up "dao fu" in "today's kanji" .
