Solomon Northrup

The man Solomon Northup was an American abolitionist and the author of the book Twelve Years a Slave (a great book, and it was even turned into a movie recently) about his horrible true life experience of going from being a free man to then being solid into slavery by kidnappers and surviving that horrible situation to get his freedom... 12 years later!
