The third phrase in the poem titled "chūn xiǎo" created by "Mèng Hàorán"
who was a major Tang dynasty poet and has been famous for his poems related to the realm of nature. The poem titled "chūn xiǎo" is not only well known in China,but also in Japan.
"yè lái fēng yǔ shēng" means "I heard the sound of wind and rain throughout the night."
Translating word for word,
"yè" means "night"
"yè lái " means "throughout the night"
"fēng" means "wind"
"yǔ " means "rain"
"shēng" means "sound or voice"
