Another approximation. Original redrawn from scratch. This one doesn't use clipping. Tile is now a thin sector of 1°, with a 0,5° overlap. Seems to lack on rendering through cairo for this reason, see interference of edges getting "semi-transparent". Maybe time to contact the developers.
