1848 Flag of Slovakia

The Slovak flag used from the Revolution of 1848 until 1992 when the coat of arms of Slovakia was added because people were confusing the flag of Slovakia with the flag of the Russian Federation and with the flag of Slovenia. Though each of them used different dimensions and shades for white, red, and blue, people not closely familiar with them could not tell them apart. Its design was based on the 1848 Pan-Slavic flag.
