1848 Flag of Slovenia - framed

The Slovenian flag used from the Revolution of 1848 until 1991 when the coat of arms of Slovenia was added because people were confusing the flag of Slovenia with the flag of the Russian Federation and with the flag of Slovakia. Though each of them used different dimensions and shades for white, red, and blue, people not closely familiar with them could not tell them apart. Its design was based on the 1848 Pan-Slavic flag.
