Riding in the forest

Whilst out riding in the woods, a couple of ladies discover something unexpected - a man tied to a tree. A vectorization of a drawing in 'Doctor Syntax's Three Tours: in search of the picturesque, consolation, and a wife', William Combe, 1868. The drawing was entitled 'Dr Syntax Bound to a Tree by Highwaymen'. The raster image was processed to remove blemishes, and contrast and colours were adjusted before vectorization.
