Columbus Day

It is VERY CLEAR that Columbus was a horrible guy. He killed and mutilated local native people and enslaved them, cut their arms off and stole their riches. Not a nice guy. But on the other hand, in my opinion, you should not forget your past, so I think you shouldn't abolish Columbus day; I think you should just use the day to talk openly about the evils of colonialism and etc. Face your past, don't try to erase the bad parts of your history.
