The Tortoise and the Hare

This story gets told to kids to sort of teach them about preservence, with the theme of "slow and steady wins the race" but I've always seen it from the rabbits point of view. Why not take breaks and afternoon naps, why the race towards the finish line? Why even be in a race to win anyway? No need to not enjoy a nap sometimes, eh?
