Christmas Pickle

I learned some Americans think that a Christmas Pickle decoration came from Germany (Weihnachtsgurke) even though it is really just an odd American tradition. The pickle decoration is hidden on the tree and the first one to find it gets an extra present or something. Fascinatingly odd.
