Bamboo alphabet

Alphabet from an old TrueType font named “Bamboo”.

The Bamboo font sems to have been created by scanning an old alphabet (maybe from a sign painter's manual?), and has no indication of authorship.

Although I've always liked the rustic looks of the font—which can evoke Victorian type, or the midcentury craze for exotic cultures and places—, its tracing wasn't good, so I've retraced it by hand. After all, this is a display alphabet and it doesn't make sense to compose lengthy texts with it, so it can be treated as a bunch of images.
