I had a bunch of tracings of (ccl-2) artists that i admire; in the end only regina passes the ccl-0 test. living people are different than paintings, tho, you really dont want to mess it up. they are my heros; i started doing them because of a particular song - madeleine peyroux is in ccl-2 quarantine but her song resonated with me and maybe it will with you. the funny thing is she has become one of mine :-)

regina to me is mozart, laura marling is shakespeare, norah jones, joni mitchell, tara nevins, natalie merchant... they all bring something unique, break new ground, and have something to say (and are not shy about saying it!) madeleine peyroux 'all my heroes'
