laurie anderson has made music, and i guess the instruments to make music, and... read the wikipedia for a full list... this image to me has an 'i made this!' look that all 'makers' get. the x-files used to end with a kid saying 'i made this!'. anyway, i wonder if 'hiawatha' is a tip of the hat to one of laurie's heros or not. you can decide that one. 'pieces and parts' is recent and haunting...
