so the promised 'numerian phashion timepieces' are actually a re-re-re-coding of a 20 year old project called 'Meow3'. it included a calendar with 4 zoom levels (chinese 60 year cycles, yearly seasons, lunar phases, and regular clock) so there will be 4 'phashion' versions. use the ? for options and # for setting the date and/or time. options are:

/ or * (repeated up to 3 times) use the tardis controls to make time go faster or backwards. not really but what fun is a clock that doesnt do tricks :-)

- or + (repeated up to 3 times) is for setting your latitude - not there yet

= set 24 hour (or click the dice)

! use javascript to do the animation. (or click the upper circle). then it really 'knows what time it is'. otherwise, click the lower circle to update the - kinda flaky - svg animation...

her dress and the hands also have animated filters - click the big circle to start, inside for added turbulence, and the background to stop.

(btw the letters M E O W 3 can be arranged into a flower pattern, representing a central server with services attached. it really has nothing to do with cats :-)

vintage music to go with vintage software: mambo-x 'pioneers' from 'whirled' - also 'window pains' and 'orange is ripe'. 'art out of context' sadly says it all.... jazz people might like shadowfax 'what goes around' - i think their only non-instrumental...
