when searching for 'colorful birds' on wikimedia - for phauna's colors - dolores publicity photo came up. the line from 'winnie' - '...save the blazing stare of their captain, who held lightning captive firm in her teeth' just fit and here she is. if she was staring at you, you would know it!

also i found a better way of shading - some of my earlier stuff never came out right because the shading was off...

'hollywood dream' donna the buffalo, 'hollywood perfume' the pretenders, 'halls of sarah' neko case, and 'sugarman' regina spektor sum up the hollywood aspect of dolores. i wonder what her career and life were like....
