This the historical banner of the Kingdom of Dahomey, which was a West African kingdom that was located partly in what is now known as Benin. The kingdom existed from about 1600 to 1904. Sadly it played a big part in the Atlantic Slave Trade of enslaved people. (From a public domain image shared by user Samhanin)
