so one way to look at the current state of the world is that we go though cycles of creation, preservation, and destruction. the trimurti has brahma the creator, vishnu the preserver, and shiva the destroyer. you can see an orange shiva on tv these days :-)

this is a very old representation of the three that i cropped and scanned in greyscale and then colorized a bit. indian art is very intricate and overwhelms inkscape :-)
