Logo Tracing - Inkscape vs Adobe Illustrator

A comparison of the tracing results of the same content as used in https://openclipart.org/detail/352446/print-magazine-logo-smiles-a-magazine-gone-mad but automatic vector editor tracing used instead. Also pre-rotated the image by about .5° I didn't try to use identical settings, just what felt like the best result in the preview view. Then I re-'grouped' (not as groups but as path shapes) the Inkscape result and adjusted the colors to match the manual trace (thus the remix tag). Illustrator certainly has better usability regarding automatic splitting of the output shapes, and the preview is more accurate and more usable. Comparison by qubodup using Inkscape and Illustrator.
This might show how close the methods used are and how little difference there is.
Minified with SVGOMG ( https://jakearchibald.github.io/svgomg/ "Merge paths" disabled).
Oh yeah, Inkscape at the top, Illustrator at the bottom. What would you have guessed? :D
