The Shark Crab hunts sharks and stands atop a new Class of animals; Hydroapoda. A Class within Arthropoda defined by a rigid external exoskeleton combined with internal hydrostatic and tendon-lattice support that replaces reliance on shell thickness and joint rigidity. Members possess modular, piece-meal growth plates that allow continuous body expansion without full ecdysis. High-density musculature and pressurized fluid compartments enable large-scale locomotion, ambush predation, and short terrestrial excursions.
