The Pit Fiend creates a 30’ funnel trap. Stridulation organs vibrate the sand, liquefying it into a non-Newtonian fluid. Struggling pulls victims down faster. The wings have evolved into tracheal sails, iridescent membranes that absorb massive amounts of oxygen to fuel its metabolism and explosive attacks. If a target resists the slide, the Pit Fiend engages its unique flicking mechanism. It uses its shovel-shaped head shield and neck muscles to launch debris, up to 50 lbs, at 90 mph.
