Bisexual pride flag horizontal/vertical stripes, square or rectangles with 2 different aspect ratios; soft animation

something is off with the animations, when I start an animation a second time it switches to the opposite first and then changes; eg "horizontal" becomes "horizontal inverted" first and then switches to "horizontal".

Any idea why that is?
