Golden Buddha

I suppose this statue isn't the most authentic. But when I saw it, I had to share. I wouldn't have thought they would have made a song in 1919 about the esteemed god Buddha. Or that they would name it that too. Or that the refrain would be so odd, and I quote: *She was told he controlled fate. "Oh, Buddha, listen to my plea, I bring; Buddha, does he really love me, buddha, is he thinking of me?"*........ huh?!?! ((If it is not clear, I synthesized this from the cover of a public domain sheet music pamphlet.))
