Neuschwanstein Castle

by Helm42 - uploaded on February 26, 2015, 6:35 pm

This castle was erected for the bavarian King Ludwig II. in Germany. Building works started 1869. King Ludwig couldn't live longer than some months in his castle before he died 1886. More than 1 million people visit this famous castle every year.I like black and white or monocrome pictures and this Castle Neuschwanstein is drawn as an overlay mostly of this photo: http://www.baviere-quebec.org/imperia/md/quebec/tourismus/neuschwanstein_bild.jpegBut I used some more Neuschwanstein pictures to clear details. Many details can't be shown in a black and white drawing, a lot has to be simplified, some have to be added by hand. Easy to do with Inkscape working in several layers.
