We need better US State Maps

There has been a request for a map of Wisconsin and Minnesota, and the more I started looking, the more I realized our more detailed state and city maps are not very good for the United States. Does anyone have an interest in helping find sources for states + counties + cities and sharing on Openclipart? I created two ways to convert bitmap maps. One can send a bitmap to outline@openclipart.org to get something similar to what you see in this attachment. The other option I've been working on is mapitize@openclipart.org but its not totally perfect either.
