Graphene with animated Carbon Atoms arranged in a hexagonal shape



The carbon atoms are used as an SVG marker keeping the positioning of the atoms correct and keeps the file size small.



An SVG pattern is used so that as the viewBox is changed, the pattern of carbon atoms repeats forming a sheet of graphene. The viewBox is animated to show the effect.
