Radio galaxy

A category of active galaxy which includes quasars and blazars. This type of galaxy emits synchrotron radiation - a jet of charged particles such as electrons. This class of astronomical objects (radio galaxies, quasars and blazars) can be only one. For each spatial position of each one of these objects that appears in front of a particular observer it receives a specific name.
