The constitution of India contains an article (Article 51A) defining the fundamental duties of every citizen of India.
Subsection h of article 51 A states that every citizen should "develop the scientific temper, humanism and the spirit of inquiry and reform". This enshrines the spirit of critical inquiry into the constitution.
