Daruma Doll

This is a Japanese "daruma" (Dharma) doll. Back in 2013 I described them on this site like this:



This is a 'Daruma Doll'. It's kind of a Japanese good luck charm... Often they are sold without their eyes drawn and the buyer fills in one eye and makes a wish. When the wish comes true the buyer fills in the other eye.
