Torus front view

I always wanted to draw something like this in SVG. Unfortunately SVG cannot iterate etc.

Here is a workaround: drawn with LaTeX \usepackage{pstricks} \usepackage{pst-3dplot}, the PDF imported with Inkscape and converted to SVG.
