Live your life or live the live: the choice is yours!

The mediatized reality that we see on screen (TV, smartphone, VR headset, ....) is not the reality. It is a transformed, edited, reworked, augmented (or diminished) reality and it is constructed to meet specific objectives (for example: sell, entertain, inform, manipulate opinion, educate,...).

The gentleman on this clipart has definitely chosen to live the present moment in front of his screen, and not outside on the beach. He feels that he perceives things better and enjoys them more with the additional information that is constantly displayed. He's addicted to this parallel (limited) reality.
