im pretty sure the orbit of the planet jupiter is the origin of the chinese 12 year animal zodiac - i think ceres is the 10 year element cycle - and so the final clock is about astronomy. numeria spins her dragons and in the old days orbits were the 'in' thing. edmond halley predicted the return of a comet and and some french astronomers predicted exactly when it would come back. it was insanely complicated and the person who 'did the math' was Nicole ... Le Paute - maybe the ai can do her portrait.
