Elizabeth Cady Stanton

Elizabeth Cady Stanton was an American activist/writer and a leader of the women's rights movement in America during the mid-to-late 19th century. She was the main force behind the first women's rights convention in 1848 called the Seneca Falls Convention, she was also the primary author of the Declaration of Sentiments at that convention that declared women should have the right to vote. She also worked for other things like abolitionism.
