clio has some more backstory and also a story to tell. ariadne and clio are sisters, daughters of apollo - learned that last night in a bar :-)

in the last century there was a potato famine in ireland, and the chocktaw people in america heard about it and sent aide, as much as they could being poor and driven off their own land. this connected two people around the world since then and there is now a statue in ireland to commemorate that long term friendship.

clio is sad that these sorts of man made disasters keep happening. she is going to be very important in the future since she has 'read the book' and can keep ai from rewriting the past...
