Native American Couple

I suppose this is a bit stereotypical, but it was beautifully composed so I share it here. I found this on the cover of the 1910 sheet music for the song "Pliney come out in the moonlight". Actual lyrics include: "When the shades of night am falling, at the setting of the sun; and the silv'ry moon am shining from above; on Plinery I goes calling, when my days' work is done." I guess a different style of music lyrics was popular 100 years ago. Hmm. (I had to simplify this illustration a bit in order to be able to fit it on this site.)
