If the image filter primitives are set to different sources it can produce the common "dot" haltone pattern.

Also can be used for hatching, cross hatching etc.

Quite a complex filter in the filter editor, although it renders easily and you can zoom in to the max with no problem.





Builds up the lightness values of the original object but discards the actual hue&saturation so it's best used on black&white/duotone sources.
