A simple example of SVG animation. Simple red heart shape with black border and a beating heart effect using a "scale" transform - click Download to preview. The heart shape has a black outline added and has been changed to a relative path, the original is too simple for copyright: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/SVG/Reference/Element/path#attributes
(The transform-origin isn't yet supported by safari.)
